TELL Outreach Programs

TELL provides a number of community outreach programs. If you would like to know more about any of the following programs, please contact us on 03-3498-0231, unless otherwise stated.

TELL Hospital Networking Program

TELL networks with various hospitals in the Tokyo area in order to facilitate admittance to psychiatric facilities. We are also able send bilingual therapists who can assist with communication difficulties that may arise between the patient and the hospital staff.

TELL Child Protection Program

This program has established a network of various resources that are available in the community for people dealing with child protection issues. This program also provides professional advice and consultation, in terms of both prevention and intervention.

TELL Educational Workshop Program

This program provides workshops on various mental health and supportive topics, such as depression, stress, cultural adjustment and parenting in various settings (corporations, schools, community groups). We are able to respond to requests for specific workshops. Please direct any enquiries to Silke Conrad by email (workshop@telljp.com).

TELL International School Liaison Program

The mission of this program is to provide information and support to academic institutions that serve the English-speaking community of Tokyo. Strong relationships have been formed with the Tokyo Association of International Schools, with the aim of developing strategies to better address the psychosocial needs of the youngest members of the community. This program continues to provide outreach to the community's international schools, to disseminate information about our services and how to access them, and to provide support and guidance whenever appropriate.

This program aims to establish and maintain a resource and referral list of professionals who serve children with varying needs including learning differences, as well as providing a screening and assessment service to help families determine the best course for evaluation and treatment for their children.
