TELL is pleased to present a workshop series addressing issues for those of us with Global Minds in a fun and interactive workshop format with professionals at TELL.
Wednesday, May 23, 2012, 7:00pm – 8:00pm
People think differently because of differences in their cultural background and language. Global citizens will not be surprised by this, but might not be aware that -and how- culture affects not only thinking, but also more profound cognitive processes such as attention, visual perception and memory. You can discover these differences during various demonstrations. This workshop is in particular recommended for bicultural couples and anyone working in a multicultural environment.
Presented by Dr. Marielle Gorissen, a Clinical Neuropsychologist at TELL. She joined TELL in 2008 and primarily conducts assessments with adults, adolescents and children in English, French and Dutch.
